Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish, born in 1982 is an Australian actress. She was born on 7 August 1982. Cornish was best-known for her roles in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). Cornish received her very first Screen Actors Guild Award in the cast of this film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin was able to decide to become an actor because of her love and encouragement she got from her family. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin honed her skills. Gilpin auditioned, and then began to perform Off-Broadway in plays after graduating. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) as well as following it up with smaller roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin kept getting TV guest spots over time. Her debut big break came in 2013 when she was cast as the main character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, playing Carrie Roman Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, was featured in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie before the show concluded on June 15 2015. Gilpin was as well on the show in True Story (2015), the mystery thriller.
