Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her grandmother had lived in the streets for three years until she reached her age when she was taken to a foster home. Her adoptive father, a Philippine-American from a military background, is white and American. She says she and her adopted brother were abused from when they were children before she joined the military. Her family travelled across the country to San Francisco for a few months, where they lived with their aunt, before relocating to Texas at the age of thirteen due to her father's need for bypass surgery. The father was not able to take action to stop the abuse psychologically, even though she says that physical violence had diminished. She enlisted in the United States Navy when she was 18 years old. Poarch was the first to join TikTok in the month of April, 2020 and quickly rose to fame. Poarch accumulated more than 40 millions fans within less than 8 months. She posted a number of videos. Her biggest hit is a music video to Millie B's famous song Soph Aspin Send. The video that was zoomed in of her rhythmically jumping and lip-syncing to the melody made the rounds and was one of the top TikTok video clips of all time. In the months after joining TikTok she started an account on YouTube as well as a Twitter account to take advantage of the fame. Her popularity grew rapidly until the month of December, 2020. Poarch's rising popularity reportedly attracted two of the top professionally-run Esports Teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves are interested in hiring her to develop the content they wanted for their brand names.
