Canadian screen actor best known for her role in Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. In 2019 she began starring in CBSs Blood & Treasure. Other roles include Earthstorm which aired in 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she starred in 2005. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk a professor and Ilkay director of the actor educator, producer and director of the Drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas childhood memories include being a spectator at the play-rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials while she was young. She received a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has staged two of its first plays, including Seven Menus. Samuel Levi and Levi are their sons. The actress landed her first significant role as Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian television show Lost Girl in 2009. CNN has named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren as Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple among their most cherished TV couples of all time. E! named them the top Television Couple in 2013.
